Soccer Drills – Dynamic Warm Up Passing Drills

You can incorporate this soccer passing drill into your warm up.

Set up a grid 30×20 meters with any number of cones along the side. Players will move around inside of the grid passing the ball to random team members. You should have 1 ball per 4 players.

Soccer Drill - Dynamic Warm up

After making a pass, the passer must sprint to any nearby cone. The player then performs a two-footed jump laterally over the cone before returning to the grid.

Other progressions include:

  • Jump forward and backwards over the cone
  • Push up at the cone
  • Touch the cone and sprint back
  • Jump over the cone for a fake header
