I think I’m a bit of an atypical soccer parent in that I am a licensed coach and have been involved in the coaching game for a long time. But every once in a while those parental instincts kick in. I have to watch myself and make sure I don’t cause problems. My two older boys have great coaches, so I just stay out of their way when it comes to their club teams.
But not every parent you face will have this kind of understanding or confidence in your coaching abilities.
So as I promised a few days ago, we are going to take a look at how to handle the parental concerns that rise up.

I would love to hear your comments about sticky parental situations you have faced.
What’s the most common question you get from parents, and how do you answer it?
I know your input would really help the other coaches who read this blog.

If you aren’t already on our email list, you will find a form at the top of this blog that you can use to subscribe.
You won’t want to miss this!

If you have coached for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve had one of those days where things just didn’t go right. In fact, your practice session might have been a complete and utter disaster.
This has certainly happened to me on more than one occasion. In this video, I’m going to show you 9 different types of coaching disasters and what you can do to avoid them.

Download “Soccer Coaching Disasters” in PDF Format
I want to know about your coaching disasters as well. Don’t be shy, everybody has had a session (or maybe even a whole season) that didn’t work out. Please leave a comment and tell us your story.

Coach Bert here, I’ll be posting more coaching tips in just a little bit, but first I need to ask you a favor.
I am very close to finishing some major updates to our course work for “Ciplfied Soccer” I have been working on this for the past six months and will be releasing the updated product later this month, but before I do, I have to ask you a couple of questions. Can you help me out?
You can answer the questions here and get a little more detail on “Ciplified Soccer.”

Thanks,
Bert
