What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate is a person who promotes another person’s product in return for a commission for each sale generated.

When you sign up as an affiliate of UltimateSoccerCoaching.com, you receive a link that is unique to you. You can put this on your website or in emails to your subscribers. People that click on the link will be directed to our website. When they purchase a product, you make a commission off of that sale. We do the work, you simply send the traffic and get paid!

What are sub-affiliates?

With a sub-affiliate program, you have the opportunity to recommend our affiliate program to other people that you come in contact with (visitors, subscribers and clients). Each person that clicks through your link and becomes an affiliate will become one of your sub-affiliates. You’ll receive a commission on each product that they sell as well as your regular affiliate commission for sales you generate.

Is having my own website a requirement to be an affiliate?

You are not required to have your own website in order to market our products. Many people use email marketing and ad placement to earn money as an affiliate.

With that said, it is really to your benefit to set up a website asap. This allows visitors to find you on the web, opening up the amount of traffic you can direct to the affiliate program (and others as well).

The more traffic you get, the larger a potential income stream you have. Blogging is a fast and easy way to get your own site. Check out Blogger.com for an example of a free blogging platform.

How many of the visitors I send you will buy?

One of the big questions we receive is related to conversion rates. Historically our site typically generates one sale for every 100 or so visitors sent to us. Some sites convert one out of 30 to 40 visitors that they refer to us. It all depends on the relationship that you have with your site visitors and where they are in their personal buying cycle.

If you want to maximize your conversion rates, then a personal recommendation is the way to go. Your customers already have a relationship with you, and you have earned their trust. You’ll see the biggest increase in your referral fees this way.

It is key that you send targeted traffic to the site. Promoting soccer coaching products on a baseball site is going to be less effective than promoting on a site all about soccer.

If you have a website that is focused on soccer coaches, then you could see results in the one out of every 100 visitor range as you have the perfect audience for our products.

How do I get paid?

All payments are made via PayPal. PayPal allows us to save time, money and the hassle of sending individual funds out by check. Online payments with PayPal are instant!

To receive your commissions all you need is an email address and a PayPal account. If you don’t have a PayPal account yet, you can sign up for a free account at PayPal.com.

We send the payment for sales for the month by the first two weeks of the following month. So, for example, if you make a sale any day in the month of February your sale will be recorded and your payment sent before the last business day of March’s second week.

To see your sales and commissions in real time, log in to your affiliate account (https://vgsports.infusionsoft.com/Affiliate/) and look at the “Commissions Generated” report.

What kind of income can I expect to earn as an Ultimate Soccer Coaching affiliate?

This is all going to depend on the amount of traffic that comes to your site, and the amount of promotions for UltimateSoccerCoaching.com you run. A low traffic site will usually make under $100/month, whereas a high traffic site could hit over $1,000.

The amount you earn is dependent upon the type of traffic that hits your site and the amount of exposure you give our product. Sites that have links in multiple places to UltimateSoccerCoaching.com will obviously have more success than sites with only a single link.

Sites that actively use e-mail, thank you pages offers and other types of marketing to promote our products tend to have more success. The more traffic you send through, the more money you make.

I think I missed the latest affiliate newsletter or promotion. What do I do?

If you think you have missed out on a mailing from us, be sure to check the “junk” folder in your email inbox. We work hard to keep fresh content in our Affiliate Resource Center for you to use in your promotions.

How do I get my affiliate links?

We don’t assign a single affiliate link to you. Instead, we provide unique links for the different promotional tools we give you such as articles, free ebooks and free reports.

These links are available in the Affiliate Resource Center located at:

(you should have received your login and password via email when you signed up).

Once you login click on “Link Generator” at the left menu.

The Process

I clicked through my link a bunch of times, but only see a single visitor. What happened?

The affiliate program software only tracks unique visitors to the site. This way you can get an accurate picture of your conversion rates. A visitor may come to our site multiple times before making a purchase. No matter when they make their purchase, you get the credit!

To make sure your counter is still working, delete all the “cookies” from your browser, and the counter will see you as a “new” visitor.

How will my visitors place their orders?

All you have to do is direct visitors to UltimateSoccerCoaching.com through your affiliate link and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll handle processing the order in our secure shopping cart, delivering the product and taking care of customer service.

Our site automatically processes the order, and records your affiliate id number making sure you get credit for each sale you create.

How will you keep track of the orders coming from my site?

When you filled out the affiliate application form, you were assigned a unique affiliate code. This code is included in every link URL you use to promote our products. We use this code to track visitors and sales automatically.

With the promotional tools we provide you (text links, articles, images, banners, emails etc.) all you have to do is get your affiliate link from the “Link Generator” and drop it into the promotion’s code.

Another very effective method is to write a personal recommendation email and send it out to your customers and subscribers – just be sure to add your affiliate URL at the bottom and you’ll be all set!

How do I change my contact or shipping information on my account?

If you want to change your e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, company name, or any other information just log into your affiliate account (https://vgsports.infusionsoft.com/Affiliate) and click on “My Profile” on the left side of the page.

How do use the copy and paste promotions on my site?

We’ve created a Quick Start video to walk you through the different types of promotions you can use at the Affiliate Resource Center: https://vgsports.infusionsoft.com/Affiliate

In general, you can now add the HTML code for our product promotions to your web site or e-mail campaign very simply.

You don’t have to be able to work in HTML, or even understand it. If you can type, you can add a product promotion.

How do I get started?

To get started with our affiliate program, you need to watch the Quick Start video and follow the step-by-step instructions.

What’s the best way to make money with this affiliate program?

We’ve made things very simple for you. You will just be offering free ebooks, reports and coaching tools to your site’s visitors. Our automatic sales funnel will follow up with them and take care of converting the sale.

I have a high traffic volume site, but am not getting many sales, What can I do?

Very few sites start off making thousands of dollars the first month. A little tweaking is usually necessary to get things dialed in. You’ll need a lot of traffic to your site to hit the $1,000 mark, but even sites with small amounts of traffic can make good money!

I have been an affiliate for a month and have not made any sales yet. What is going on?

Before you can start earning significant commissions each month, you’ll need to increase the traffic to your web site.

Traffic equals sales.

Is there a particular type of promotion that’s more successful?

The more personal the promotion, the better it works. Email outperforms banner ads and articles. Personal recommendations are more powerful than standard emails.

With email, you are already contacting a list that has a relationship with you. They trust you and are more likely to follow your lead, rather than clicking a banner (not to say you shouldn’t still post banners, the more you promote, the better you will do).

Informative articles about the product are also successful. Typically, these take the form of a review from you.

We have also included a wealth of articles that you can add to your site. Not only will these boost the amount of content on your site, increasing site value and visitor time on site, but it’s a great way to transition into promoting one of our free reports.

How do I generate more traffic to my website?

The first step in generating substantial traffic is to submit your site to major search engines. It takes time to get listed, so get started right away. There are tons of search engine courses out there if you are really serious about getting ranked. I’m a big fan of Perpetual Traffic Formula by Ryan Deiss.

If you can afford to invest money in advertising, then you should take a look at pay-per-click search engines. They’re great for driving qualified, targeted traffic to your website. To learn more, see below:

Facebook Ads are also an inexpensive method for generating traffic.

Another option is to look for online newsletters and ezines related to soccer that accept ads. Some don’t even require a fee!

Free methods include message boards, newsgroups, or forums where you can advertise. Be careful when posting to these. Check with the admin and moderators first as many sites have rules about advertising.

How do I build an opt-in list – and what is it?

An opt-in email list is your own personal database of names and email addresses from site vistiors that have given their information to you. If you offer a free newsletter that requires people to subscribe, then you have an opt-in list.

Don’t bother purchasing email lists from brokers. These are garbage and will just get you into trouble. These people did not give you permission to contact them, and with the current spam laws in place, you could get into a load of trouble.

With an opt-in list, your subscribers must be able to unsubscribe at any time. If they ask to be removed, you need to do some immediately. However, if you provide good quality content, you subscribers will stay with you.

Building a quality list can take some time, so get started now! It’s easy to market to your list because these are people you already know will be interested in soccer coaching.

How do I go about getting sub-affiliates?

One of the best ways to recruit sub-affiliates is to send them an email explaining the benefits of becoming an affiliate of UltimateSoccerCoaching.com. Adding your own personal recommendation based on your experience with the program is key!

We’ve also created promotional materials you can use on your site to specifically promote the affiliate program. You may have to lay things out for people that have never heard of the concept of an affiliate program.

It’s important to relay that the program is free to join, and they can make money without having to do a ton on work on their end.
